Marco Rose is set to welcome two players back to his squad for RB Leipzig’s Bundesliga clash against Borussia Dortmund in the Topspiel on Saturday evening. Lukas Klostermann and Christoph Baumgartner are both available after recovering from infections, Kevin Kampl is also fit again after missing training while Xaver Schlager could make the squad for the first time in 2025.
After playing 4-4-2 against Freiburg last weekend to match Julian Schuster’s setup, Rose will likely revert to his preferred 3-5-2 formation with David Raum and Ridle Baku providing width and Xavi Simons as the No. 10 behind Benjamin Šeško and Loïs Openda.
It’s possible that Amadou Haidara will also return to the starting lineup ahead of Kampl, who will serve a one game suspension upon picking up his next yellow card, as will Willi Orban and Simons.
