Predicted Bayern Munich XI v Celtic: Defensive changes for Bayern

Vincent Kompany is expected to make two changes to his Bayern Munich team that beat Celtic 2-1 at Parkhead last week as they look to secure a place in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

Kim Min-jae was an unused substitute against Celtic in the first-leg, but played the full 90 minutes against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday evening. Coming through the game unscathed, Kim is expected to start alongside Dayot Upamecano tonight. Defensively, Raphael Guerreiro was also an unused substitute with the game against Celtic in mind, meaning the Portuguese international would replace Hiroki Ito at the Allianz Arena tonight. Kicker suggests that Josip Stanisic could also replace Konrad Laimer, who struggled against Daizen Maeda last week, at right-back.

In the final third, don’t expect Kompany to make changes from the team that won at Parkhead. Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala, Leroy Sane and Harry Kane should all start with Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry being options off the bench.
