Official | Magdeburg sign Dariusz Stalmach from Milan

2. Bundesliga side Magdeburg have announced the signing of Dariusz Stalmach (19) from Milan. The Polish youth international has played 25 games across all competitions this season for Milan’s various youth teams, including 307 minutes across four UEFA Youth League games.

Stalmach joins for a reported €250,000, which means a loss on the €700,000 Milan paid Górnik Zabrze in August 2022. For someone his age, Stalmach comes with quite the experience having played 20 games for Górnik Zabrze in Poland’s top flight.

Upon his arrival, Magdeburg head coach Christian Titz said: “I am pleased that we were able to make Dariusz’s transfer happen early. With him, we are getting a highly talented midfielder.”

Magdeburg fight for Bundesliga promotion

Although the worst home record in the 2. Bundesliga this season having picked up just seven points from a possible 27, Magdeburg in the Bundesliga playoff spot, level with Hamburg and two points behind leaders FC Köln.

No team has picked up more points than Magdeburg (28) away from home this season, having won nine of their 11 away games.
