Ruhr Nachrichten reports that Borussia Dortmund are running out of patience with Giovanni Reyna and will likely look to part ways in the summer.
Dortmund have a ‘strike list’ of players they wish to get rid of in the summer, as the squad is in major need of an overhaul. One of those is USA International Reyna.
It was hoped that Reyna’s loan move to Nottingham Forest last season would give his career a kickstart, but he flopped in England. Since returning, the American has rarely been available due to injuries and when he has played has never performed well enough to warrant more game time. Reyna’s contract expires in 2026 and Dortmund will look to move him on in the summer.
On top of this, Dortmund will also have to sell the likes of Jamie Gittens. Gregor Kobel or Karim Adeyemi if they fail to qualify for Europe this season. Die Schwarzgelben are currently 11th in the Bundesliga.
