Bild reports that after Borussia Dortmund’s sacking of Sven Mislintat, Sebastian Kehl and Lars Ricken’s jobs are under greater scrutiny.
It is said that both Kehl and Ricken must now convince Joachim Watzke by the summer of their ability to work with Niko Kovac and together to help bring in a new era at the club as Dortmund have been drifting for several years now.
Kehl is said to have already been under observation for a while now. The factor in determining whether the former Dortmund midfielder will be successful is whether Dortmund qualify for the Champions League this season and whether the transfers brought in under Kovac, Daniel Svensson and Carney Chukwuemeka, are successful.
West Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung reports that Dortmund are already working on replace Mislintat in his role as Techincal director. Chief Scouts Laurent Bussier and Sebastian Krug are two options for the role.
