Stuttgart predicted XI v Crvena zvezda: Changes aplenty for Sebastian Hoeneß’ VfB

Stuttgart head coach Sebastian Hoeneß is set to make at least two changes to their starting line-up for tonight’s Champions League clash against Crvena Zvezda.

Nick Woltemade hasn’t travelled to Serbia and so Swiss midfielder Fabian Rieder should start with a change to the formation. Defensively, Joshua Vagnoman should drop into defence in place of Leonidas Stergiou which would allow Angelo Stiller to return to the starting XI.

Like Woltemade, Justin Diehl isn’t considered while Jamie Leweling (thigh) and Deniz Undav (thigh) are both sidelined, as is El-Bilal Touré who is out for several months after undergoing surgery on a broken metatarsal. Should Ermin Demirovic accumulate his third yellow card, the Bosnian will also be suspended for VfB’s next European game.
